Sirulean Lore

Every writer has a process.

Some have candles. Some have playlists. Others keep their desks organized and notes color-coded. They follow a peaceful routine that suggests they never dwell on a single sentence for forty-five minutes.

I have Sirulean.

Sirulean is the messy mascot of my creative world. He mixes parts writing gremlin, stream companion, emotional support troublemaker, and proof that healing can look chaotic. Sometimes it shows up as coffee, intense typing, gaming breaks, research tabs about Titanic, and one little character sitting at a desk like he carries the weight of every unfinished draft.

He exists somewhere between the journal, Ink & Saltwater, and whatever strange part of my mind creates lore at midnight.

The journal is where I write openly about identity, grief, healing, courage, and discovering myself. Ink & Saltwater takes those same themes into historical fiction, romance, and the lives history has overlooked.

Sirulean is what happens when all that puts on a cape, grabs a coffee, and asks, “Okay, but what if we made this a little weirder?”

He is a writer by day, a chaotic spirit by night.

He represents the part of me that wants to tell deep, meaningful stories while also escaping into a game for three hours because my mind has declared emotional bankruptcy. He believes a sentence can save you, a fictional character can change you, and sometimes the best way to endure tough times is to embrace the absurd on purpose.

Sirulean will not replace serious work. He is here to create space around it. He brings humor, stream energy, late-night notes, dramatic reactions, tiny desk chaos, and the reminder that finding yourself can be messy. It can be tender and strange. It can be thoughtful and funny. It can be healing while also involving pretending to be Spider-Man.

Around here, Sirulean is the guardian of chaos.

He might appear in writing updates, behind-the-scenes posts, gaming streams, sketches, emotes, coffee-driven announcements, and any moment when creative work looks less like a polished author brand and more like a raccoon found a keyboard.

Which feels more accurate.

This is where reflective essays, historical fiction, queer survival stories, gaming chaos, and main character energy all come together. Sirulean is the little creature holding a lantern in the center of it all, guiding us to deeper meaning while looking like he has had too much caffeine.

He is here for the stories, the joy, and the questionable decisions that somehow become art.
